Mal began his career as a regional newspaper journalist before moving into automotive PR in 2000. He has worked with many major carmakers to support their in-house press and communications teams and deliver innovative and successful campaigns. He joined Baize Group in 2012 to launch the company’s PR division.
Fact: Mal once made a government minister cry (on purpose!)
After six years as an automotive journalist, which included editing the UK’s best-selling specialist motoring title, Christian switched to automotive-focused PR in 2004. His previous agency role saw him deliver PR solutions to the UK dealer networks of Mercedes-Benz and Bang & Olufsen. He also owns an MG Metro Turbo, but tries to keep that quiet.
Fact: Christian once auditioned for Blockbusters.
Began working at the Isle of Wight County Press as a news journalist the day after graduation from university and in 2008, became the sports editor at the age of 27. Craving a new challenge and a mainland relocation, she moved into PR working with Mitsubishi and Nissan.
Fact: Is a main character in Bernard Cornwell’s novel, Sharpe’s Fortress.
Nigel has over 16 years of experience in the motoring industry and has worked for leading brands including What Car? Autocar, Pistonheads, CAR and MSN Cars and headed up production of video content for leading UK, European and Global motoring manufacturers, including launch events, internal and social media films. He has run the video department at OnCue since its creation in 2013.
Fact: Nige once had a shampoo by an elephant at Blackpool circus (tough times).
Zaak earned a First Class Honours Degree (BA) in Digital Film Production in May 2015 and went on to become a runner on various short films, music videos & documentaries shortly after. Zaak also spent three months as a Production Assistant for a Brighton-based animation company. Having a life-long passion for cars, combining both the video knowledge and that passion was a must-do and OnCue provided that opportunity in early 2016.
Fact: Zaak’s godfather is the bass guitarist for Hot Chocolate.
